No. The standard nebolink reports over cellular, so it doesn't need Wi-Fi. As long as there is cellular coverage in the area, your fleet's location updates in real time on our platform. For boats that run offshore, a Starlink nebolink is an option: a separate unit that reports over the boat's own Starlink.
By scanning the QR code, guests get an instant, app-free map view of their journey. They can easily view the vessel's real-time position, speed, and heading, along with safety warnings and tappable points of interest featuring photos and extra details.
The wired nebolink needs a basic two-wire connection to a constant 8–33 V DC supply that stays on when the boat is switched off. Connect the red wire to positive, such as the boat's battery, and the black wire to the negative terminal or main ground bus. Its housing is rated IP68 for dust and water, so it can be mounted outdoors on the deck or cabin roof.

Yes. Every track point carries its time, speed and heading. In the dashboard you can save a vessel's logs as PDF, its track points as CSV and its tracks as GPX, and download reports as CSV.
