Get alerts when a boat moves after hours

Know right away if a boat moves outside your operating hours.

An after-hours alert tells you when a boat moves while you're closed, so you can check on it. You turn it on for each vessel.

Open the vessel
In the dashboard's top bar, click Vessels, then click the pencil beside the boat.

Turn on Alert on movement outside of operating hours
Click its switch. It's under Alert Settings, near the bottom of the form.

Choose its operating hours
Choose how Operating Hours are set:
- Fixed Hours: enter the times you operate, from and to, in 24-hour time (they start at 06:00 and 18:00).
- Daylight Hours: alerts on movement between sunset and sunrise, adjusted automatically each day. A chart shows today's sunrise and sunset at your fleet. Buffer shifts the window by up to 180 minutes: a positive buffer lets boats out before sunrise and after sunset without an alert, and a negative one shortens the day.

Click Save
The Vessels list opens. Repeat for each boat you want covered.

After-hours alerts are in beta. They go to everyone in a notification group that gets After Hours Movement alerts.
