Set up notification groups
Send each kind of alert to the people who need it, by email or text message.
Notification groups decide who gets which alerts. For example, speed and restricted zone alerts can go to the operations team, and low battery alerts to whoever looks after the boats.

Open Fleet Configuration
In the dashboard's top bar, open Settings and click Fleet Configuration. Notification Groups is at the bottom of the page.

Click Add group
A new, empty group appears below your existing groups.

Name the group and add its recipients
Type a name for the group. Then add the email addresses and mobile numbers to alert, separated by commas. Write mobile numbers with their country code, like

Choose the alerts it gets
Click each type of alert the group should get. The ones you choose turn dark blue:
- All notifications
- Geofence notifications
- Over Speed
- In Restricted Zone
- Low Battery
- High Water
- After Hours Movement
- 5
Click Save
Updated fleet settings confirms it. The group gets its alerts from now on.
Someone in several groups gets each alert only once. To change a group later, edit it here and click Save. The trash can beside a group removes it. After Hours Movement and High Water alerts are turned on for each vessel: see Get alerts when a boat moves after hours and Get high water alerts.
