Change your fleet settings

Set your fleet's name, time zone, units, privacy and where its map opens.

Fleet settings apply to everyone who uses your dashboard. Only administrators can change them.

    Open Fleet Configuration

    In the dashboard's top bar, open Settings and click Fleet Configuration.

    Check the name and time zone

    Name is your fleet's name, shown in the top bar. Choose your fleet's Time Zone.

    Choose your units

    Choose a Short Distance Unit (metres or yards), a Long Distance Unit (nautical miles, kilometres or miles) and a Speed Unit (knots, kilometres per hour or miles per hour). The dashboard shows distances and speeds in them.

    Choose the alert and privacy options

    • Enable global speed alerts (outside geofences) alerts you when a boat goes faster than its own Max Speed anywhere outside your geofences: see Set speed and low battery alerts.
    • Private (vessels not visible in the recreational app) keeps your boats out of the public Nebo app. Leave it ticked unless you want them seen.

    Set the default map location

    Drag and zoom the Default Map Location map until it shows the area you want the fleet map to open on.

    Click Save

    Updated fleet settings confirms it.

Notification groups are at the bottom of the same page: see Set up notification groups. Your logo on Nebo Discovery and Nebo Replay is set by our team: email fleet.support@nebo.global to change it.
