Set up Nebo Discovery

Choose what guests see on the live map their phone opens from your boat's QR code, and preview it as they will.

Nebo Discovery puts a live map on your guests' phones. They scan the QR code on their boat and it opens in the browser, with no app or login. It shows where they are, your places, restricted zones and recommended routes.

    Open Nebo Discovery Settings

    In the dashboard's top bar, open Nebo Discovery and click Settings. Your settings are on the left, with a live Preview of the guest map on the right.

    Click OK on the preview's notice

    The preview starts with the same safety notice your guests see the first time they open the map. Click OK to close it before changing your settings.

    Choose what guests see

    • Show Boat Popup shows the boat's name, position, speed and heading on the guest's map.
    • Automatically show Place card when nearby pops up a place's details as the boat gets close. Set how close the boat has to be. It starts at 100.
    • Routes visible on Guest View shows All of your routes, None, or Specific ones you choose.

    The Preview shows each change as you make it.

    Click Save

    Click Save to apply your settings to every guest map. Saved confirms it.

    Preview it as a guest

    Pick a vessel beside Preview to see exactly what guests on that boat see.

Good to know

Guests open the map by scanning the vessel's QR code: see Download a vessel's QR code. Add points of interest under Nebo Discovery › Places (Add a place) and recommended routes under Nebo Discovery › Routes (Add a route). Restricted zones you draw in Geofences show on guests' maps too: see Add a geofence.
